# Give the AI agent tools from your other systems (MCP servers)

> Company admins can connect another system's MCP server so the Enydea AI agent can use its tools, with every tool switched off until you allow it.

## What changed

The Enydea AI agent can now use tools from other systems through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). A company admin adds the address of a system's MCP server under **Settings** -> **Integrations** -> **MCP servers**, with no authentication, a bearer token or a custom header.

Enydea then lists the tools the server offers. Every tool starts switched off. You decide per tool whether the agent may use it freely or must ask you first, or use the buttons that allow the read-only tools, allow all or turn all off. Each call the agent makes is logged with its arguments and result. A tool whose definition changes on the server is switched off again until you review it.

## The other direction

This is the opposite of the Enydea connector, which lets Claude or ChatGPT work inside your Enydea account. Both can be used at the same time. See [AI assistant connector for Claude and ChatGPT](https://enydea.com/en/documentation/connect-ai-assistants-mcp.md).

## How to use it

The [MCP servers manual](https://enydea.com/en/documentation/agent-mcp-servers.md) explains the settings, the call log and the limits. The [tutorial](https://enydea.com/en/documentation/tutorial-add-mcp-server-to-agent.md) connects a public server that needs no key and has the agent answer a question with it.
