# Notifications show a recap and open the item itself

> The bell now shows a title, a short recap and the time for each notification, and one click opens the form entry, chat room or page it is about.

## What changed

The bell at the top right shows each notification as a title, a short recap, and its type and time. A form entry reads, for example, `New entry on "Contact"` followed by the values the visitor filled in, so you see what came in without opening anything.

One click opens what the notification is about and marks it read:

- a form entry, also one from a landing page, opens on **Forms** with that entry's details;
- a chat opens its chat room in **Chats**;
- a file, such as a finished video, opens the relation's **Files** tab;
- LeadFinder and mailing notifications open **Leadfinder** and **Mailings**.

Each row also has a tick (**Mark as read**) and an **X** (**Delete**), and **Mark all read** marks the whole list read at once.

Notifications you also get by push or e-mail link to the same place as the bell, so the link in a form notification e-mail now opens the entry itself.

Older notifications are shown the same way. An older form notification without an entry opens the entry that was submitted at its time, if there is one.

## What it does not do

The bell lists unread notifications only. Read ones stay under **Settings** -> **System Logs** -> **Log Messages** until you delete them.
