7. Cookies and Tracking
This website keeps very little in your browser, and nothing for advertising:
- Necessary Cookies: A record of your choice in the cookie banner, kept in your browser's local storage until you change or withdraw it and, only if you start a chat with us, a conversation code so that you can continue it. No cookies are set; this is local storage.
- Preference Cookies: None. This website does not store any preferences.
- Analytics Cookies: Only if you accept. We measure how this website is used with analytics software that we run ourselves on our own servers; we do not send the data to advertising or analytics companies. We record the pages you view and when, the page you came from, campaign parameters in the link (UTM), your device type, browser, operating system and screen size, how far you scroll, which links and buttons you click, files you download, videos you play and how long you stay. When you submit a form we record that you did, not what you typed. The records do not contain your IP address or any other information that identifies you, and we do not link them to customer records. While you are on the website your browser keeps a random session code in session storage; it is removed when you close the tab. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). We keep the records only as long as we need them for this purpose, and the records of your current visit are deleted as soon as you withdraw your consent.
- Marketing Cookies: None. We do not load advertising or social-media tracking scripts on this website.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the button below. Withdrawing stops the recording and deletes the records of your current visit. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a decline. Declining has no effect on how you can use this website.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Encryption at rest
- Regular security audits
- Access controls and authentication
- Employee training on data protection
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
10. Public Authority & Law Enforcement Data Requests
We have established formal policies and processes regarding requests from public authorities (including law enforcement and government agencies) for the personal data or personal information of our users:
- Legality Review: Every request from a public authority is reviewed for legal validity before any data is disclosed. We verify the requesting authority's jurisdiction, the cited legal basis, and conformity with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant laws).
- Challenge Provisions: Where a request is assessed as unlawful, overbroad, or lacking a valid legal basis, we challenge it through available legal channels. Where not legally prohibited, we inform the affected user(s) of the request.
- Data Minimization: We only disclose the minimum personal data strictly necessary to comply with a lawful request. We never provide bulk or unrelated data beyond what is legally required.
- Documentation: We maintain a secure log of all public authority requests, including: the requesting entity, legal basis, date, scope of request, internal review decision, data disclosed (if any), and response date. These records are retained for regulatory audit purposes.
If you believe your data has been subject to a public authority request, contact us at: [email protected]
11. Children's Privacy
Enydea is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
