E-mail addresses you can trust: a send gate and a nightly check
What changed
- Seen beats guessed. An address seen in real mail or on a company's own website now counts for more than an address built from a name pattern. A guessed address that turns out wrong is replaced by the published one, and the old one stays in the contact's history.
- Checks that mean something. Some domains accept mail for any address, so a mailbox check there proves nothing. Enydea detects those domains and no longer counts such an answer as confirmation.
- Bounces teach. A bounce that says the mailbox does not exist marks the contact undeliverable and makes Enydea more careful with other guessed addresses at that company.
- A nightly run. Every night Enydea catches up on bounces, checks new recipient domains, looks for published addresses where it only has guesses, and scores the contacts again.
- A send gate. Before a campaign is sent, Enydea checks the contact addresses on the list. By default it only reports, in the send notification, how many addresses it would hold back. A company admin can ask the AI Assistant to switch it to enforce, which leaves unconfirmed and undeliverable addresses out of that send while keeping them on the list.
How to use it
Most of this runs without a screen: you see a badge on contacts and a line in the send notification, and you ask the AI Assistant for checks and settings. Email address verification and the send gate explains the levels, checks and gate, and the tutorial checks a mailing list before a campaign.
