Setup Wizard: set up your workspace in 13 steps
What the wizard does
The Setup Wizard is a window titled Enydea Setup. A list of 13 steps is on the left and the current step is on the right. It collects the basics that other parts of Enydea use: your company profile, products, target customers, branding, mailbox and sending domain, budget, tracking and team. Every field is optional. You can leave a step empty and come back later.
Before you start
- Sign in. See Sign in and manage your account.
- Have your company website address ready. Step 2 uses it.
Open, skip and reopen the wizard
- It opens by itself when you open the Dashboard for the first time after signing up.
- To skip it, click the X at the top of the step list (tooltip Skip for now) or click outside the window.
- Skipping does not finish it. The wizard opens again each time you open the Dashboard, until you click Go to Dashboard on the last step, or close the Welcome to Enydea card on the Dashboard with its X.
- To reopen it, click the gear icon next to Edit Mode on the Dashboard and choose Setup Wizard. You can also click the first row of the Welcome to Enydea card.
- Where it starts: the wizard always starts at step 1 and does not remember your position. Details you saved earlier appear in the fields again.
- To jump to a step, click its name in the list. You can do the steps in any order.
The counter at the top of the list, for example 3/13 complete, counts the ten readiness items from step 12. It never goes above 10 of 13.
The 13 steps
- Company Profile. Enter Company Name, Website, Phone Number, Address, City, Zip Code, Country and Example Customers (a comma-separated list). Saved when you click Next. You can edit most of these later in Settings -> Account -> Company information. The Website is the exception: Settings has no field for it, and Print as Quote in an opportunity needs it, so set it here.
- Website Scan. Click Scan My Website. Enydea crawls up to 15 pages of your site and uses AI to pull out your company name, description, industry, phone, address and logo. The screen says this may take 1-2 minutes. Then choose Fill Empty Fields, Overwrite All Fields or Re-scan. The results fill the forms in steps 1, 3 and 5, but only Next in those steps saves them. If the scan fails, you can try again or continue by hand. The scan needs the website from step 1.
- Products & Services. Enter Company Description, Industry, Products, Services, Ideal Customer (ICP) and Main Competitors. The screen says this helps the AI with content and targeting. Most of these fields also appear under Business Profile in Settings. Saved when you click Next.
- Target Companies. Enter Target Industries, Target Company Size, Target Job Titles / Decision Makers and Keywords / Signals. Click Select Countries to choose target countries and languages. The screen says these details are used for AI Leadfinder, Google Ads and mailing campaigns. Countries and languages are the same data as Country & Language Targeting in Settings. Saved when you click Next.
- Branding. Enter a Logo URL (a web address, not an upload), Primary Color, Secondary Color and Brand Font. These are the same settings as Appearance in Settings. The screen says they are used in emails, banners and AI-generated content. Saved when you click Next.
- Import CRM. Three cards: Import from CSV / Excel, Add Contacts Manually and Extract from Mailbox. Their buttons close the wizard and open Relations or Mailbox. See the first note below about where the spreadsheet import is.
- Email & Domain. Connect your mailbox (Microsoft Office 365, Google Gmail or IMAP / SMTP (other provider)), and register and verify a sending domain for bulk e-mail. These are the same panels as Settings -> Email Integration. See Tutorial: connect your mailbox and Tutorial: set up a bulk e-mail domain.
- Marketing Budget. Enter Budget Name, Total Monthly Budget, Currency and an optional amount per channel (Google Ads, Meta / Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Email Marketing, Social Media (Organic)). When you click Next with a total above 0, a budget is saved. It appears under Advertising -> Budget Controller.
- Tracking & GDPR. Add analytics and advertising tags (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Meta / Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Hotjar, HubSpot) and read about the cookie banner and data deletion requests. The wizard does not put anything on your website. You still add the tracking code yourself. See Website tracking and consent.
- Team Members. Enter an e-mail address and a role per row: Admin, Member or Viewer (read-only). Use Add another for more rows and Send Invitations to send them. A tick shows a sent invitation. An error icon shows the reason when you point at it. See Team and roles for what the roles do. Despite its label, Viewer does not restrict what a person can do.
- Channels. Shortcut cards for Leadfinder, Advertising, Mailings, Social Media, the image creator (Visualization) and Settings. Nothing to fill in. A card closes the wizard and opens that area.
- Auto-Launch. Shows a readiness checklist of ten items and a Generate Social Starter Posts button. See the second note below.
- All Set! Click Go to Dashboard to finish. The wizard is then complete, and the Dashboard card shows Setup Complete.
Things to know
Note: Step 6 and the import. The button Go to Relations -> Import only opens Relations, which has no import button. To import a spreadsheet, open Settings -> Upload to CRM. See Tutorial: import contacts. To add a company or person by hand, use the + button (tooltip Create new Relation) in Relations. To pull contacts from e-mail, use Extract Contacts from Emails in Mailbox.
Note: Step 12. Generate Social Starter Posts writes example texts for LinkedIn and X (Twitter) and shows them on the screen. They are not saved or published, so copy them into Social Media. The same click also sends a request to the AI assistant for an introductory mailing campaign. The wizard does not show the answer. To get a proposal you can act on, open the AI assistant and describe the campaign. See AI assistant and agents.
Tip: For the small link icon next to the title of step 3 and the Manage Data Deletion button in step 9, open the area yourself from the gear icon at the bottom of the left menu. Use Settings -> Account -> Business Profile for step 3 and Settings -> Data Deletion for step 9.
- Step 8 saves a new budget each time you click Next with a total above 0. Click Next once per visit, or check Budget Controller for duplicates.
- The list in step 13 is fixed text. It does not check what you finished. Use the checklist in step 12 for that.
