Relations: your CRM for companies and contacts

Last updated:

What Relations is

Relations is the Enydea CRM. A relation is a company, or a private person if you tick Consumer/Private Person/B2C. Each relation holds its own contact persons, calls and messages, opportunities, files and contracts.

Before you start

  • Nothing needs to be set up to open Relations.
  • The choices in Status, Type and your own selection lists come from Settings -> Account. Look for Set Relations Status types, Set Types and Free Selection 1 to 4.
  • The Calls/Messages tab, including the AI Call Coach, is not translated. It stays in English in the Dutch, German and French app.

Find a relation

The list is on the left. It is ordered by Lead Score Hot/Cold, highest first, with 20 relations per page.

  1. Type in Search relations by name, address, city, or country.... The search also looks at state or province and type.
  2. Click the filter icon (Open filters) to open Filters. You can filter by Status, Type, Marketing Relation, Country, Owner, Tags and Custom Field 1 to 4.
  3. Click Apply Filters. Click Clear All to start over.
  4. Click a relation to open it on the right.

Note: The Status and Type filters offer a fixed list (Lead, Prospect, Customer, Inactive and Company, Individual, Partner). They do not follow the lists you set in Settings, so a relation with your own status may not appear when you filter on it. The Tags filter matches one whole tag.

Create a relation

  1. Click the round + button (Create new Relation).
  2. Confirm the question Create new relation.
  3. A blank relation opens with Locked Mode switched off and the cursor in Name. Type the name. Picking a suggestion fills in the address.
  4. Fill in the other fields.

Note: Enydea saves the blank relation as soon as you confirm. If you change your mind, open the three-dot menu and choose Delete.

Edit a relation

There is no Save button. Enydea saves when you leave a field.

Locked Mode is on by default and makes most text fields read-only. Switch it off in the three-dot menu to edit.

The card has these fields:

  • Name, Country and the logo.
  • Inside Details: Status, Type and your own selection lists.
  • Address, Zipcode, City, State/Province, Email, Website, General phonenumber and VAT.
  • Lead Score Hot/Cold, a slider that decides the order of the list.
  • Industry, Source, Tags, Description, Relation owner and Notes.

To add a tag, type it in Tags and press Enter. Tags feed the filters and your mailing lists.

Marketing Relation marks a relation you run marketing for, such as your own company. Only company admins can tick it, and how many you can have can depend on your plan. See Pricing. Marketing relations are the only ones listed in Current Account in the side menu, and screens such as Mailings, Social Media and Files ask you to pick one there first.

Get Company Info is a button on the card. It needs a Website and Locked Mode switched off. Enydea reads the site. When it finishes, choose what to keep and click Apply Selected Changes.

The three-dot menu holds these actions:

  • Manage Logo: Auto-Search Logo, Upload Image File or an Image URL, then Save Logo.
  • Copy booking link: see Scheduling and booking links.
  • Scan Business Card: upload a photo (JPG, PNG or WEBP) and click Scan. Then click Save to CRM to create a relation and a contact person. Changes you type in the scan dialog are not what gets saved, so correct the relation afterwards.

The tabs

A relation open in the Relations module: the list of relations on the left, the company details in the middle and contact persons and recent calls on the right

A relation in Relations. The tabs along the top switch between Calls/Messages, Contact Person, Opportunities, Journey, Files and Contracts.

Calls/Messages

Click the + button (New Activity) and choose Log Phone Call, New Email, Email from Template or Log Meeting. Filter the list by all, email, calls or meetings. A call can hold contact persons, notes and a follow-up date.

AI Call Coach

Select a phone call, conference call or meeting to see the AI Call Coach.

  1. Optionally fill in Call goal (optional).
  2. Click Start Live Coaching. You get a Prospect Brief with Background, Suggested Openers and Watch-outs.
  3. Type or dictate notes in Notes / Transcript.
  4. Click Get AI Suggestions. It needs at least 10 characters of notes. You get a Recap, Now Say / Do, Next Steps and topic chips.
  5. Click End Call to save the summary.

The coach does not listen to your call. It works from the notes you type or dictate.

Contact Person

This tab is hidden for B2C relations. Click + (Create contactperson) or pick one from the list. The form has salutation, names, Contactperson status, Default contact, title, function, department, email, phones, instant messenger and social profiles. Click Save when you are done.

With an email address filled in you get buttons to Send Email (Internal), Send a booking link, open your own email program and copy the address. Search Contacts Online and Search Social Media suggest people and profiles you can save.

Opportunities, Journey, Files and Contracts

  • Opportunities: deals with line items. See Opportunities and quotes.
  • Journey: touchpoints such as website visits and email interactions. It stays empty until the website tracker and tracked mailings produce data.
  • Files: files, videos and scenes stored for this relation.
  • Contracts: contracts for e-signing. See Contracts and e-signing.

Add many contacts

The Relations screen has no import button. See Import contacts into your CRM for the ways that work. To email a group of relations, build a mailing list from the CRM. See Mailing lists and segments.

Limits

  • You change relations one at a time. There is no screen to select several relations and change their owner or status together.
  • There is no extra search dialog beyond the search box and Filters.
